Sea to Tree Health & Wellness
In 2019, I founded Sea to Tree Health & Wellness Ltd. (originally called Sitka Wellness). It was born from the desire to create more opportunities for people to access local wellness services. We have a small team of local practitioners committed to supporting you in person and behind the scenes to make this possible.
You can find out more about Sea to Tree Health & Wellness and the services we provide on our website: seatotree.ca
My Approach
I work with individuals of all ages, with a focus on individuals and couples who have a variety of life experiences, including trauma, loss, relationship and family struggles, marginalization, substance use, anxiety and other mental health concerns. Each individual coming to therapy is unique, attempts to do the best possible with the resources available, has wisdom, creativity and strength. Everyone has the right to self-determination. To me, counselling means providing a safe place for you to tell your story, in whatever way that looks for you.
I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. My goal, as a clinical supervisor, is to support and grow your clinical approach. I do this by providing a fresh perspective while keeping your unique clinical style in mind. Together we will enhance your skills and capacity and increase your personal and professional growth reflection. I work with all ages, and I have advanced training and clinical experience working with trauma and First Responders. I am EMDR Certified, Gottman Level 3 trained, trained in Sex Therapy as well as Critical Response protocols. I also integrate a variety of theoretical orientations such as strength-based, response-based, solution focused, eco therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic, trauma informed and feminist. I am open to providing supervision for individuals, dyads, small and larger groups.
We will work together to find solutions and approaches that feel right for what you would like to work on.

So - how do we meet?
Right now, I am open as my office space is large enough to maintain social distancing, but if public health indicates a need to change this, sessions will go back to being remote or online.
I also offer sessions as an outreach model: in nature, in a coffee shop, on a walk, etc.
